Job Description

Kakawa Chocolate House in Salem, MA is looking for one baker to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 173 Essex Street. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix and blend batters
• Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products.
• Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
• Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
• Prepare and maintain inventory
• Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
• Experience as a Baker a plus
