The Sweet Lobby and Souk are hiring full and part-time BAKERS!

The Sweet Lobby began eleven years ago as the vision of engineer turned entrepreneur and now, two-time Food Network champion, Winnette McIntosh Ambrose. Thanks to its talented and dedicated teams, The Sweet Lobby and its sister bakery, Souk are two of the region’s premier retail and wholesale producers of French macarons, gourmet cupcakes, breakfast pastries and much more. Our mission is to inspire daily delight through exceptional food, generous hospitality and joy-driven attention to detail! Our pastries are carefully crafted, using premium locally and globally sourced ingredients. From fresh seasonal produce and premium chocolates to the finest French butter and our house-blended spices, we believe that the foundation of excellence in the final product lies firstly in the quality of the starting raw materials. We are a diverse and energetic team of professionals spanning numerous disciplines from our bakers and pastry chefs to our customer service and logistics staff. The Position:
Are you truly passionate about the craft of baking? Are you obsessively attentive to even the minutest detail? Are you a team player? Then this may be the ideal fit for you! The Sweet Lobby is seeking highly motivated junior and senior bakers to join its team. The successful candidates will be self-motivated individuals who thrive in high volume production environments.

Requirements:
*This position requires excellent physical stamina, including willingness to happily be on your feet and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
*Degree/certification in the culinary arts preferred.
*Commercial bakery/restaurant experience preferred.
