EyeMD EMR Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective leads, nurturing relationships, and supporting the sales pipeline. This role requires excellent communication skills, high energy, and a proactive approach to connecting with potential clients in the healthcare sector.

A Business Development Representative is instrumental in initiating conversations with potential clients, qualifying their needs, and setting the stage for successful sales engagements. This individual should be self-motivated, organized, and excited to contribute to the growth of EyeMD EMR. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers professional and engaging interactions while upholding the values and standards of our company.

To comply with employment and payroll requirements, applicants must reside full-time and year-round in a U.S. state where EyeMD EMR Healthcare Systems, Inc. is registered and authorized to conduct business. Only candidates living year round in approved states will be considered for employment

WHAT BASIC QUALIFICATIONS YOULL NEED:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in a BDR, SDR, or related sales role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce).
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and a passion for driving results.
  • Adaptability to evolving processes and the unique demands of the ophthalmology and healthcare industries.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE:

  • Familiarity with the ophthalmology industry or EMR software.
  • Experience with outbound lead generation, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Knowledge of sales automation tools and marketing strategies.

  • Willingness to travel for on-site meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
