Position Summary The Conflicts Analyst is an entry-level, non-exempt professional in the Conflicts Services Department. We seek a flexible, articulate, self-directed individual to join an experienced team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, with a rotational shift (approximately one day per week) from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Essential Job Functions Review new client and matter search requests, verify entity and party information, and perform corporate affiliate research using various reference materials. Create reports to determine whether the firm can accept new clients and matters under ethical rules and policies. Perform data entry to add parties and information into the conflicts database once a client matter clears conflicts. Assist with research requests and other projects, including lateral hire processing. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2+ years of conflicts department experience in a mid-large law firm preferred. Professional demeanor with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and customer service orientation. Ability to evaluate conflicts scenarios critically and adapt to procedural changes. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Teamwork skills and ability to produce accurate work efficiently. Recognize problems and escalate appropriately. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and general computer/database skills; Intapp experience helpful. Understanding of conflict principles and professional responsibility laws.
