Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Credentialing Specialist to support a healthcare team during a high-volume 8-week period. This is an on-site role located in Lafayette, CO. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following structured processes and written instructions.

Job Title: Temporary Credentialing Specialist

Location: Lafayette, CO (On-site only)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (slightly flexible)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Pay Rate: $21–$22 per hour

Duration: 8 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and audit existing provider records
• Generate, filter, and sort reports in Excel
• Organize and maintain electronic folders and files
• Prepare documents using templates and Mail Merge (if applicable)
• Assist with DocuSign document preparation and signer assignments (training available)
• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers via email
• Use Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications, including Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
• Follow credentialing workflows and administrative procedures accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a medical or clinical office setting
• Knowledge of credentialing or provider enrollment processes (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
• Excellent written communication skills
• Familiarity with Mail Merge and DocuSign is a plus, but not required

• This is a part-time, temporary position requiring on-site presence in Lafayette, CO. Candidates must be available to start immediately and commit to the full 8-week duration.
