Description The Director of Car Wash Chemical Sales is responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of the chemical sales division within the car wash industry. This leadership role is focused on driving revenue through the development of key partnerships, the management of a high-performing sales team, and the delivery of innovative, value-based chemical solutions for car wash operators. The ideal candidate brings a blend of industry expertise, sales leadership, and technical knowledge of chemical applications across tunnels, in-bay, and self-serve systems. Description The Director of Car Wash Chemical Sales is responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of the chemical sales division within the car wash industry. This leadership role is focused on driving revenue through the development of key partnerships, the management of a high-performing sales team, and the delivery of innovative, value-based chemical solutions for car wash operators. The ideal candidate brings a blend of industry expertise, sales leadership, and technical knowledge of chemical applications across tunnels, in-bay, and self-serve systems. Essential Functions Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for North America in alignment with overall business objectives. Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, customer segments, and distribution channels. Establish, monitor, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets using Salesforce. Recruit, mentor, and lead a top-performing sales team with a focus on accountability and results. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and car wash operators. Act as the primary point of contact, expert, and advocate for all distributors, both internally and externally, to drive the growth of our chemical business. Collaborate with each distributor to develop and agree on business plans aimed at increasing Mark VII sales in their respective regions. Provide training and support to distributors, offering tailored business solutions to foster sales growth. Build, maintain, and manage strong relationships with distributors. Analyze market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive activity to drive strategic growth initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Distributor Manager and the Equipment Sales Team to ensure product alignment and successful market penetration. Provide subject matter expertise on chemical performance, application techniques, and system optimization. Monitor and report on sales performance, trends, and forecasting, presenting findings to senior leadership. Lead product training sessions and hands-on demonstrations for internal staff and external partners. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards regarding chemical safety, handling, and environmental compliance. Qualifications Experience and Education Competencies Education And/or Experience Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the car wash chemical sector. Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets.\ Strong understanding of various car wash systems and the chemicals used within them. Strategic and analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel up to 60% or as required. Experience working with car wash distributors and operators. (Preferred) Knowledge of chemical blending, dilution ratios, and titration methods (Preferred) Communication/Language Skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must. Ability to read and comprehend documents. Active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Technical Competencies Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) Salesforce preferred but not required. Personal Competencies: Extreme attention to detail and accuracy. Must be persuasive and influential; trusting and credible. Must have a desire to lead others and always act with integrity. Must be flexible to work days, nights or weekends if necessary. Must be willing to travel up to 60% including internationally as needed. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet be flexible and have the ability to work in a team environment.
