Position Description:

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our team. The Fleet Administrator will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring that vehicles are well-maintained, properly insured, and compliant with regulations.
  • Oversee the scheduling, tracking, and maintenance of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and monitor routine vehicle inspections, repairs, and servicing, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety standards.
  • Fleet Documentation: Maintain accurate records for each vehicle, including insurance, registration, inspection dates, and service history. Vendor Management: Coordinate with external service providers and vendors for repairs, maintenance, and fuel services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality service.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all vehicles are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, including emissions, safety standards, and insurance requirements.
  • Budgeting & Reporting: Assist in fleet budgeting, including maintenance, fuel costs, and other vehicle-related expenses. Prepare regular reports on fleet performance and costs.
  • Fuel Management: Track fuel usage and costs, ensuring fuel-efficient practices and managing fleet fuel cards.
  • Vehicle Procurement: Assist with the purchasing or leasing of vehicles, ensuring the right fit for the company’s needs and budget.
  • Driver Support: Provide support to drivers regarding vehicle issues, route planning, and other fleet-related concerns.
  • Incident Tracking: Monitor and report vehicle accidents, damages, or violations, and follow up on insurance claims and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in fleet management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Knowledge of relevant regulations regarding fleet operations, including safety and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and financial tracking. Experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.
  • Familiarity with fleet safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Position Details:

  • Location: Midland, TX
  • Pay Rate: $30-$40/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour DOE
