Job Description

LVI are currently working with a leading construction firm specializing in commercial and residential property inspections. Their team is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in delivering inspections to commercial property managers and residential homeowners across Central Florida. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and certified Building Inspector to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Florida Certified Building Inspector at, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and evaluating the structural integrity and compliance of various commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will help maintain reputation for excellence and ensure that all projects meet state and local building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial and residential properties.
  • Evaluate building plans and ensure compliance with state and local building codes.
  • Identify and document any structural issues or code violations.
  • Provide detailed inspection reports and recommendations for necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate inspections.
  • Stay updated on the latest building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Florida Certified Building Inspector (BN) and Plans Examiner (PX) certifications are required.
  • Proven experience in building inspection and plan examination.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Florida driver's license.
