Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, personable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless client experience while contributing to product sales and social media engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, check them in and out of appointments, and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Product Promotion: Recommend and promote grooming and hair care products to clients, highlighting their benefits and usage.
• Social Media Support: Assist in creating and posting content for our social media channels, including photos, videos, and captions showcasing the barbershop’s vibe and services.
• Espresso Service: Prepare and serve espresso and lattes to clients.
• Laundry and Cleaning: Handle laundry tasks (washing, drying, folding towels and capes) and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the shop.
• Organization: Keep the reception area, waiting lounge, and product displays tidy and inviting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive brand image.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in customer service, retail, or front desk roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to recommend and upsell products.
• Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok; content creation experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment.
