Amentum is seeking a Clean Room Technician to join our Operations and Maintenance Team. This position is responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing emergency and preventive maintenance and repairs on the building equipment, fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment including clean rooms. Responsibilities include performing repair of doors, flooring, ceiling, lighting, hard surfaces, walls, and fixtures; planning and coordination of work within the factory environment to reduce impacts and ensure safety; performing inspections of factory areas to identify discrepancies and facilitate their repair; periodic collection of data like factory temperature and humidity levels; coordination of needed vendor support for certain repairs; written and verbal communications with customers and factory and facilities management; maintaining appropriate service repair work order records electronically; researching and inventorying equipment parts and supplies; responding to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service; assisting and serving as back-up to other Facilities employees; ensuring all safety policies and procedures are adhered to; and other duties as assigned by management. Minimum requirements include 3 years experience, high school graduate or equivalent, U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident, ability to obtain a security access badge, passing a pre-employment background check and substance abuse test. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of hand and power tools, air measuring instruments, refrigeration equipment, electrical meters, meggers, and shop equipment, and experience working in a CMMS environment. Physical requirements include repetitive wrist movement, extensive walking, climbing ladders and stairs, bending/stooping, color differentiation, computer use, attending meetings, some travel, and communication skills. Special requirements include wearing personal protective equipment and coping with job-related stress. Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.
