Job Summary:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance tasks on residential heating and air conditioning systems. This role focuses on cleaning, inspecting, and ensuring the optimal function of HVAC equipment. What You'll Do:

Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including:

• Changing filters.
• Cleaning coils.
• Inspecting and tightening electrical connections.
• Checking and adjusting refrigerant pressures.
• Checking and adjusting gas pressure on forced-air gas heating units.
• Cleaning and inspecting condensate systems.
• Conduct visual, auditory, mechanical, and electrical inspections to assess equipment function and ensure reliability.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and repairs as skills are developed through training.
• Utilize hand tools, test meters, and refrigerant equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
• Maintain a consistent 40-hour workweek, with some seasonal fluctuations based on weather. Typical hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What You Need To Succeed:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while adhering to high standards of quality.
• Professional presence and strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Valid driver’s license, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of low and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Previous experience in HVAC or related mechanical/electrical work.
