Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Insulators to join our team. The Insulator will be responsible for installing and replacing insulation materials to help control the temperature within buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces using hand tools
- Install insulation in buildings to maintain temperatures
- Apply, remove, and repair insulation on pipes, ductwork, walls, and other structures
- Seal insulation with caulk, cement, or mastic
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the amount and type of insulation needed
- Work with various materials such as fiberglass, foam, and mineral wool
Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools for cutting and shaping insulation materials
- Ability to interpret blueprints for accurate installation
- Experience in caulking and sealing insulation effectively
- Knowledge of working with drywall for proper insulation placement
- Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand insulation requirements
Shift: 14&7 / 20 & 8
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
