The Role: Analyst Intern

Woori Venture Partners US is seeking a highly motivated, analytically rigorous, and intellectually curious Analyst Intern to join our Silicon Valley investment team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to venture capital and growth equity investments while working in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and industry mapping to identify emerging trends
• Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on prospective and existing portfolio companies
• Support the due diligence process by building subject-matter expertise in key verticals
• Prepare compelling, data-driven investment memoranda and presentations
• Contribute to portfolio monitoring and post-investment value creation
• Collaborate with investment professionals across U.S. and Korea offices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or expected graduation by Summer 2025)
• Passion for startups, technology, and venture capital
• Strong analytical thinking, quantitative skills, and research capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative team environment
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and intellectually driven

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic background in STEM, Finance, Business, or Economics
• Prior internship or work experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or related fields
• Korean language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) is a strong plus

Location

This is a full-time, on-site internship based in our Palo Alto, CA office. Remote work is not available.
