3GIMBALS seeks an innovative Junior Web Application Developer skilled in cloud services, web application development, data integration, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications. You'll work closely with other engineers and analysts to bring projects to life from concept to production. We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure management, including the deployment of containerized applications and the building of ETL pipelines to integrate data from disparate sources. This role is perfect for a candidate eager to streamline complex processes and build efficient, scalable solutions that enhance operational capabilities and support real-world missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Application Development:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications that are scalable, secure, and user-centric.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-platform compatibility to enhance the user experience.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Partner with data analysts and other stakeholders to operationalize tools, enhance workflows, and improve access to actionable insights.
• Actively participate in team discussions to align development priorities with business goals.
• Data Integration and ETL Pipelines:
• Develop and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for gathering, transforming, and enriching data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and accessibility for reporting and analytics.
• API and Third-party Data Integration:
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs to ingest and process external data.
• Develop solutions for seamless integration of third-party data into existing systems.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
• Stay informed about emerging trends in application development and cloud technologies.
• Proactively recommend and implement improvements to existing systems, tools, and workflows.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Communication and Collaboration:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
• Full-Stack Web Development:
• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks such as Node.js (back-end) and React.js (front-end).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Experience with shell scripting or other scripting languages for automating repetitive tasks.
• Cloud Platform Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or containerization tools for deploying scalable applications.
• Data Engineering and Databases:
• Familiarity in building and managing ETL pipelines for data integration.
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and graph databases (e.g., Neo4j).
• DevOps:
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including version control (Git), and experience in optimizing deployment workflows for reliability and performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degrees or Certifications: Graduate degree in a relevant technical field.
• Security Clearance: TS//SCI eligibility is strongly preferred. Candidates with this clearance will be prioritized.
