Licensed Practical Nurse - Private Duty- Pediatric in New Haven area. Many other cases throughout CT available. Various shifts, some flexible hours. Caring for 1 patient at a time, not a whole wing. Responsibilities include providing quality, comprehensive nursing care in client’s home under RN direction, participating in care plan development, providing health education, accepting and entering physician orders with RN co-signature, following up on client issues, maintaining communication with physicians, and completing accurate documentation. Requirements: active nurse license in Connecticut or compact license, High School Diploma or GED, graduate of accredited nursing program, minimum 6 months LPN Pediatric experience preferred, LPN Home Health experience preferred, reliable transportation, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, dedication to quality patient care.
