Job Description

Pacific International is partnering with a leading manufacturer in the consumer goods sector recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence across its diverse product lines. The organization is seeking a Maintenance Manage r to oversee maintenance operations at a major North American production facility. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency, coordinate with other departments, implement preventive maintenance programs, drive continuous improvement, manage vendors, support capital projects, and train maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop maintenance team members, including engineers and technicians.
  • Oversee root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and documentation of equipment failures.
  • Develop and implement precision and preventive maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Manage new equipment installations and drive reliability improvement projects.
  • Analyze operational data to improve maintenance metrics such as unplanned downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Implement predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, infrared inspections).
  • Participate in maintenance planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Deliver tactical training on maintenance and reliability practices.
  • Identify and implement equipment and procedure modifications to reduce repair times.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of maintenance or engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
