Your Job Georgia-Pacific is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join our team in Plattsburgh NY. This position reports directly to the * Planning maintenance jobs for the Paper, Pulp, Converting, Logistics and Utilities areas of an integrated paper mill Our Team Georgia-Pacific Plattsburgh is a stable employer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance planning and the ability to use office productivity software to manage schedules, resources, and documentation. What You Will Do

  • Working with mechanical, electrical, and general contractors to scope and bid jobs
  • Planning support tasks - including creating BOM's, P&ID updates, creating parts specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with all required Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations
  • Promoting safe work execution through detailed planning - Use of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Potential Problem Analysis (PPA), and other tools
  • Building a transformational culture in mechanical maintenance team that seeks to learn and utilize the latest technology and skills to service operations
  • Actively seeking opportunities to transfer knowledge to the operating technicians.
Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for maintenance job planning, planning support tasks and outage planning. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules using office productivity tools
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
  • Utilize office productivity software for creating, managing, and sharing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Experience with office productivity software such as Microsoft Office 365 or similar suites
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Associate's or Technical degree in a mechanical field or higher
  • Experience with pulp and paper, refining, or other chemical processing equipment
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Experience planning shutdowns/turnarounds/outages, routine maintenance or developing work scopes
  • Experience with SAP
For this role, we anticipate paying $75,000-95,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
