Senior HVAC/R Systems Specialist - Building Automation Expert


We're seeking an experienced HVAC/R Systems Specialist to join our facility maintenance team. In this role, you'll lead complex HVAC, refrigeration, and building automation systems (BAS) projects while ensuring optimal performance of critical facility infrastructure. Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC/R systems and building automation controls
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Program and modify building automation systems (BAS) for optimal performance and energy efficiency
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
• Supervise and mentor technical team members while providing expert guidance on complex projects
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, maintenance, and system modifications
• Collaborate with facility management to improve system efficiency and reduce operational costs

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial or healthcare HVAC/R maintenance experience
• Current CFC Certification
• Proven expertise in building automation systems (BAS) programming and controls
• Strong knowledge of commercial building codes and regulations
• Proficiency with digital diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance systems
• High school diploma required; Trade/Vocational school graduate preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
