Job Purpose

Lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in Mass Production, Business Planning, and New Model development to efficiently meet or exceed our targets in Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale.

Key Accountabilities

• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to ensure a shared understanding and direction.
• Analyze daily reports to identify gaps in safety, quality, and delivery, and develop countermeasures for continuous improvement.
• Utilize data analysis and PDCA to lead and justify solutions for complex problems in your area of responsibility.
• Monitor and manage equipment and processes to optimize manufacturing performance while minimizing costs.
• Enhance the capabilities of yourself and your team through training, mentoring, and sharing experiences.
• Establish priorities and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives effectively.
• Manage project implementation, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
• Test and implement new technologies to improve equipment and process efficiency.
• Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to meet overall cost targets.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, etc.) with relevant experience.
• 6 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Manufacturing co-op/internship experience preferred.
• Proficient in industry-standard software applications.
• Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a team player mentality.
• Strong self-motivation and a desire to thrive in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to set direction for others and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems through analysis.
• Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Project management capabilities.

Working Conditions

• Work in a production environment requiring PPE and lockout in manufacturing operations.
• Exposure to hydraulic oils, cutting lubricants, and ferrous and aluminum materials.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and investigation within equipment.
• Use of hand/power tools, automation equipment, and quality gauging instruments.
• 50% office environment and 50% manufacturing lineside activity.
• Possible overtime of 10-15 hours per week.
• Weekend or off-shift support may be required.
• Travel up to 5% (domestic & international).
