About the Department

We are on the lookout for passionate candidates eager to meet the needs of our complex medical/surgical patients. Whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced nurse, our unit is the perfect place to enhance your skills. This role can also serve as a stepping stone for those interested in advancing to the ICU, OR, or Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate patient care, assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Provide empathetic care for patients throughout all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate competency and utilize comprehensive nursing expertise.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should:

• Be a graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where you practice, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
