Senior Accountant (CPA needed) We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee the research, analysis, and documentation of complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, lease accounting, and impairment assessments. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, working closely with cross-functional teams, external auditors, and valuation specialists to support accurate financial reporting and regulatory adherence. Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year + Bonus Potential (10% - 20%) Hybrid Work Flexibility: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote Growth Opportunities: Exposure to executive leadership and technical accounting projects Award-Winning Company: Recognized by Boston Globe as a "Top Place to Work" for 3 consecutive years Comprehensive Benefits: Healthcare, 401(K) match, tuition reimbursement, and more Key Responsibilities: Research, assess, and document technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and impairment analyses Analyze new accounting standards and assist with SEC filings and SOX 404 compliance Evaluate and document property transactions and business combinations under purchase accounting Provide technical accounting guidance to senior leadership and collaborate with external auditors Support internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical accounting, preferably at a Big 4 or large national CPA firm Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance Experience with public company financial reporting and accounting research Required Skills: CPA certification (Mandatory) Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, data analysis) Strong business writing and technical documentation skills Preferred Skills: Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, Oracle, SAP) Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
