We're Hiring: Substance Use Disorder Counselor

📍 Location: Marin County, CA

💼 Full-Time-Monday to Friday 8:30AM-5PM| Group + Individual Counseling | One Evening Shift/Week

💵 Starting at $30/hr +Bilingual Differential (English/Spanish)

MatchBukh Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a mission-driven organization in Marin County, to hire a passionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) to join their Behavioral Health team.

This is your chance to work under a highly respected Clinical Director, in a trauma-informed, collaborative environment focused on recovery and healing.

🔹 Role Highlights:

• Carry a caseload of 20–25 clients across Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Recovery Services
• Lead 2–3 groups/week (process, didactic, and specialty focus)
• Work one evening shift/week (until 9 PM) to support group therapy
• $5,000 in employer-paid coursework support toward certification
• Regular case conferencing with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
• Utilize evidence-based models like MI, CBT, and Relapse Prevention

💼 Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intakes and Comprehensive Substance Abuse Evaluations
• Create and manage individualized treatment plans
• Complete ASAM assessments and discharge planning
• Maintain CalAIM-compliant documentation
• Lead engaging and impactful group sessions
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings and integrate feedback
• Support client orientation and ensure confidentiality and professional boundaries

✔️ You’ll Thrive Here If You Have:

• Certification or registration with CAADE, CADTP, or CCAPP (required)
• 2+ years of experience in AOD counseling (1 year OK if Master’s level )
• Excellent documentation and group facilitation skills
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and substance use treatment
• A degree in Psychology or related field (preferred but not required)
• Registered as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC ? You're eligible for higher pay! And can provide supervision hours and really mentor you.

🩺 Requirements:

• Negative TB test
• COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)
• Annual flu shot (or exemption)
• LiveScan fingerprint background check
