Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36's, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• NC License
• 2 years of experience required in last 5 years
• Must be able to take heparin drips. PCA. Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy
• PICC line management, IV starts
• Epic documentation experience required
• BLS
• ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries preferred

• Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
• Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication):
• Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding
• Accepts 1st time travelers
• Locals Accepted
• Target Ratios: 1:6-7
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (Must be comfortable with these ratios)Shift: 12HR NIGHTS. 36 or 48 hours accepted
Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holdingWeekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekend

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue. Traumatic brain injuries. Spine injuries, pain. Neurological trauma/nerve damage (small population). Subdural hematoma.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication):Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION:12 hour unit orientation. 16 hour organizational education.
SCRUBS:Navy
