Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples from patients.
\n\t
• Ensure proper technique to minimize patient discomfort and prevent complications.
\n\t
• Prepare and reassure patients before and during the blood collection process.
\n\t
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions to reduce anxiety.
\n\t
• label and document blood samples accurately to ensure proper identification and tracking.
\n\t
• Follow protocols for the safe handling, storage, and transport of specimens.
\n\t
• Perform other duties as assigned.
