POSITION OVERVIEW
The Educational Technology Administrative Assistant provides support to the Executive Director of Innovation Technology. Ongoing duties include supporting the Director in everyday operations, managing schedules, calendars (the Director’s, Professional Development, etc.), keeping efficiency and organization top priorities as necessary for the optimal function of the Innovation Technology Department, coordinating with other departments (Business Office, Curriculum, School administration, IT), among others.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The assistant to the Executive Director of Innovation Technology’s role encompasses three main areas, but are not limited to:
Purchasing Assistance
Manage and keep organized continuous purchase orders
Tracking of textbooks ordered for teachers/curriculum
Create reports of items purchased
CourseDirector / Bookstore Assistance
Assist with tracking textbook choices - Lower School, Upper School, and Academy
Assist with adding title choices with the school bookstore
Tech Support
Assist students in the Upper School Media Center for simple troubleshooting
SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Physically be located in the Upper School Library year-round to be the main point of contact for the Executive Director of Innovation Technology
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Degree in Business, Computer Science or Education preferred
3+ Years in administrative work
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge in Google services
Typing
Spreadsheets
Presentation Software
Customer Service

Assigned as needed by the Director of Educational Technology
Between the hours of 7:30AM and 4PM
