We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a unique blend of both mortgage loan processing and loan officer assistance experience. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing the top of the funnel by working with clients to vet and qualify them to ensure accurate loan product fit for seamlessly processing all the way to close. Ensuring each client meets product guidelines to get them clear to close as smoothly and quickly as possible while taking a consultative and proactive approach is key. Responsibilities: • Strong experience in mortgage loan processing with a thorough understanding of guidelines and conditions: We are seeking a candidate who has a deep understanding of mortgage loan processing, including industry-standard guidelines, underwriting requirements, and loan conditions. Your expertise will be key in ensuring our loan applications meet all required standards from start to finish, ensuring smooth approvals and timely closings. • Experience as a loan officer assistant with a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and support loan officers with a high volume book of business: This role will involve working closely with a high-producing loan officer and clients. You will support a high-producing team by managing documentation and client communication, ensuring seamless progress through the loan process. Your strong communication skills will help you provide exceptional client service, answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved. • Manage all files from application to close to post-close (preapps, pipeline, post-closing): You will take ownership of the loan files from application to post-closing. This includes overseeing pre-qualifications, pre-approvals, loan pipeline tracking, and final post-closing documentation. Your ability to stay organized and detail-oriented will be crucial in ensuring that no step is missed and every file progresses smoothly toward closing. • Review and ensure compliance with mortgage guidelines, conditions, and documentation requirements: With your extensive knowledge of mortgage guidelines, you will be responsible for reviewing loan files to ensure full compliance with industry standards. Your sharp attention to detail will help identify any issues early, ensuring a seamless process from application to final approval. You will play a critical role in ensuring all required documentation is in place and meets compliance requirements. • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a high level of customer service: We pride ourselves on our customer-first approach. You will be the bridge between clients, loan officers, and internal teams. Building strong relationships with clients and loan officers is essential.
